- Add one more fruit and/or vegetable to your day
- Drink only water between meals – and eliminate sweetened beverages
- Create a meal with the main dish made from a healthy recipe
- Turn off the tv during mealtimes and focus on what you’re putting in your mouth and when you feel full
- Cut down on fat by using lower fat dairy products such as low-fat milk, yogurt, and cheese
